Understanding the Relative to Parent option

- If it is that we have decided to use Substance files inside Unreal for our materials, then a concept that we will need to have firmly locked down in our minds is the fact that Designer actually has two size modes. The first, and default option, being relative to parent. The obvious question though, is what does this mean? And how does it effect our material? Well, essentially the size modes will use either the application that a Substance file is imported into or the graph in Substance Designer itself in order to determine a starting resolution. So, if we go ahead and create a new Substance graph here, we see that we have access to a size mode dropdown that is, as noted, set by default to relative to parent. Meaning, our Substance is going to be looking to the application that it is sitting inside of in order to determine the start size or resolution that it should be using.
