- [Instructor] If you want to get even more precise with mapping, you can use the UV editor. And this is where we can precisely control exactly how the bitmap maps to the surface of your objects. So let's create a simple texture and do some mapping. So, I've got a very, very simple box here. Let's go ahead and add a Lambert material. And in that Lambert material, let's go over to the color channel, add a node, add a file node, and that file node is going to be wood box. Now, notice how this is a, kind of a wooden crate, but it's also already unfolded, so it's ready to go for UV mapping. So let's go ahead and select Open. And once we do, we have that material on our box, but it's not exactly the way that we want. So we can tweak this using the UV editor. So I'm going to go over to Windows, Modeling Editors, UV Editor, and it brings up this window. Now, there's a lot that you can do with the UV editor, but let's just look at…
