- [Instructor] Now, in addition to changing the way Maya looks through the Preferences window, you can also use what are called workspaces. Now in the top right-hand corner we have a pull-down menu for Workspaces. We are working in the Maya classic interface, but if we want, we can change to any one of these. Now these are all kind of designed towards very specific applications. So if you want to do modeling, you can click on Modeling Standard and it brings up a collection of tools that hopefully will help you with modeling. Now, if you're really good at modeling, you can go to the Expert Mode and it's basically just a big screen and hopefully you know all the hotkeys and can work with it that way. Now we have other ones here. If you're an animator, you may want this interface, or if you're into rendering, you may want something like this.
