Use objects as lights
- [Instructor] Another way to add lights into your scene is to use Arnold's mesh light. And this turns the objects in your scenes into lights. So here I have a scene that's set up to render in Arnold. Let's go ahead and do a quick render, and we already have one light in the scene so we can kind of see what we're doing. So let's go ahead and add some headlights to this truck. So I'm going to select the headlights here and we're going to actually turn them into lights. So let's go into Arnold, lights and you'll see we have one here called mesh light. If I click that on, when I go over to the attribute editor you'll see we have a light control panel so I can turn up the exposure. So let's maybe turn it up to 20 and you'll see we're actually getting light from those headlights. So I can dial that down, dial it up, control the intensity. I can change the color if I want.
