Useful preferences and setup

- To get the most out of any software, it's worth taking the time to set preferences, understand settings and ways of customizing the interface to better suit your workflow. We're going to look at how we can change project settings, access the viewport and HUD options, edit preferences, configure keyboard shortcuts and switch layouts. So if you can't see your project settings just press cmd + d to bring them up or ctrl + d on a PC. I've mentioned this before in this course, but it's worth reiterating that your frame rates and units of measure, project duration, they're all very important for when you're first starting out a project. You can come over to here and just check what you've got. It's useful to know how you can change them. If I'm in the UK working, I want to load a preset that allows me to render at the right frame rate so I can just choose one of these. So 25 frames per second.
