Using color for story

- [Instructor] This is a panel from my Storyboarding course, which is also in the library. And this was designed to show what you could do with a simple addition of three tones. And it's astonishing, really, what can be done with small additions of just three or four tonal areas. So let's take a look at something I did for my 21 Foundations course also in the library, which was to take a look at color and how we use color as a part of the storytelling. So this would obviously be pretty dynamic as it is, but we can certainly plus it. We can add the awful glow from the Cintiq onto my face, and it's also hitting the ghoul. I guess this is meant to represent a bad boss or something. And then I thought, "Well, can we go any further with this to really make it scarier?" And then I thought, "Well, let's add a red wash to it." We can still see that the evil boss is blue. This red haze or glow aura somehow makes him even more menacing…
