Using noise to modulate metalness

- [Narrator] Once we've got our roughness set for our material, we can start to get the corresponding metalness in place. When we take a look at our sample cube, we can see I've got a really nice modulated roughness. It's just making that highlight fracture a little bit, but the metallic quality is exactly uniform and that comes from this base material. When we pick the base material, we can see in here that that metallic is just a straight value. What I need to do then, is get something very similar to the roughness in place. I'll select that Roughness frame and all the nodes in it. Copy them, control or command-c, move up a little bit so I have some space and paste, control or command-v. I'll pull this frame up out of the way and rename it to "Metalness." I'll also change the frame color just so I can visually identify them. Now I am ready to get the metallic properties adjusted. I'll scroll down and turn Metallic to True; And then, pipe in the output of this level's node. Now I've…
