- [Instructor] Maya has a number of visualization tools that will help you when animating and we can find those in the animation menu under visualize. So here I have a simple scene of this rocket going across the screen. Now if I want to, I can use some of these visualize tools to see my animation a little bit better. Now probably the most common one is what's called ghosting. So if I select my rocket and hit ghost selected, what it does is it gives me a ghost of my animation before and after the current frame. If I keep my object selected and do unghost all, that goes away and if we go into ghost selected and go into options, we can change our preferences. So if we go into custom frames, you can say whichever frames you want to ghost. Custom frame steps, so let's say we don't want anything after the current frame but more, say, before the current frame. And then the step size. Do we want to step every frame or every other…
