- [Instructor] I've already created a course about walk cycles, so it's really important that you're familiar with the principles in this course either by watching the course itself or if you already know these principles, then you're good to go. But if you're in any way unfamiliar at any point, with anything I say here then fall back on this. So just to retrace what the course said, in case, it's a little fuzzy in your memory, there are four primary poses in a walk cycle. And this applies to a two-legged walk or a four-legged walk. We have our contact pose, what we have here cycling into the opposite contact pose. And then back into number one. So this is the first contact, the second contact and then the third which is completes the cycle. The next most important position is the passing position.
