- [Instructor] Another way to organize your scenes is to use selection masks, and these allow you to restrict selection by object type. You can find selection masks up here. You may have to expand it to find it, and it's the menu that looks a little bit like this. Now, if you notice on the left hand side, we have this down arrow and we could turn all objects on or off. So I'm going to go ahead and turn them all off and you'll see that all of these go dim. If we turn them on, they all light up. So let's go ahead and turn them off, and we can basically just click on only those types of objects we want to deal with. So in this case, let's turn on geometry. So if I click on this diamond shape, it allows me to only select geometry. So if I were to middle click and drag, only the geometry selects. If you notice, the light and the camera in the scene do not. So I can select whatever I want, but I'm never going to select…
