In this movie we're going to take a look at what's involved in programming a CNC machining part, now programming both a CNC milling part and a programming a CNC lay part are different but they are going to use similar type of operations. Now the software I'm using right now, we're looking at SolidWorks and inside of SolidWorks I have a software called Solid Cam installed, now there's a bunch of different CAD softwares. And there's a bunch of different CAM softwares and all of them have different requirements but they're all pretty much going to be doing the same thing. We have to create some geometry, we have to create some tool paths, we have to load some tools and then finally we're going to output some G code at the end of the day. So, well, let's take a look. This feature has already been created. So this part is, a bunch of different features that create this part. This is ready to prototype now. Let's go ahead and start machining the part.
