- [Narrator] Let's set up the HDR or image-based lighting in Arnold and it's very easy. So to create an image-based lighting, I'm going to go to my create panel and under the lights, I will choose the Arnold Light and then making sure that the Type is set to Skydome, I will click in my view port to place a Skydome Light. Then I will go to the Modify panel and show you the options which are exactly the same that we did for the other light. Under the Color/Intensity, this time I'm going to check the Texture option and under the No Maps I can browse and choose a map, and HDRI map, that I can plug for the environment HDRI lighting. But instead, I'm going to press M on my keyboard to bring in the Material Editor and I will choose an empty slot which is currently this one and just making sure that the surface is set to Arnold, Surface, and then Standard Surface.
