- [Instructor] When we composite, typically we'll work with the elements that came out of V-Ray, but we can also create our own elements and actually paint into the image or do whatever is needed to get the image that we want. A lot of times, this will mean adding things such as people or cars or signage or whatever. I'm going to actually create a little bit of glow in the room to give the feeling of morning light. So we're going to start off by creating a new layer. So I'm going to go into my composite here, select the lighting layer. I'm going to create one on top of that called GLOW. Now, this is an empty layer, but we're going to actually fill it with just some generic light. So I'm going to take my Polygonal Lasso tool, and I'm just going to draw a shape that looks something like this. Essentially it's going to be the light filtering in from this side window.
