- [Instructor] When we composite images in Photoshop, we often need to select certain portions of the scene in order to affect that portion of the image. Now, one of the easier ways to do this is to use the wire color of our objects to generate a specific layer. So let me show you what I mean. Here in our scene, if I go into Default Shading here and turn on Edged Faces, you'll see that all of my objects have a specific wire color. So the background here is green, these chairs are kind of a dark purple color, and so on. Now, I can create a render element that reflects those colors. So here I have my regular image, but if I go into wire color, you can see that I have just these blocks of color that are representative of those portions of the scene. So if I wanted to easily select, say, these lamps, all I have to do is select my magic wand tool and select those, and then I can control that portion of the image. Now…
