- [Instructor] Now, another thing we can do is adjust the flames a little bit. Now, if I zoom in on these flames, you'll see that, well, they're kind of sharp around the edges. And if we were to photograph these, a lot of times we would get kind of blurry edges because of the speed of the shutter as well as the glow of the fire. So we can create that effect doing a number of methods. Now, one of the first things you might think is, well, I'll just select the geometry. I'll use my wire color select layer to select that. But as you can see, the window of the fireplace or the glass in front of the fireplace is preventing us from seeing that geometry. And the same goes for the Z depth. So we're probably going to just have to do this the old-fashioned way and just do it by hand. So let's go down to our main layer here, and I'm just going to zoom in and do some selections.
