- [Narrator] We now have our substance material in our 3dsMax scene, so let's go ahead and adjust it and then apply it to the actual objects in the scene. Now, I like working on just a simple object like this because I want to see how the material looks in the scene before I actually commit to assigning it to actual geometry in the scene. So I'm going to do a quick IPR here, and let's take a look at how this shows up in the scene. Now one of the things I'm noticing is that when I zoom in, it actually looks pretty good. It looks kind of like concrete or stucco but I'm getting one little problem here right in the back. And that is I'm getting a reflection and in this case it's kind of an artifact of the automatic conversion process from substance to v-ray. So we can fix this, it's not that big of a problem. So let's go into our slate material editor and we can start by clicking on our substance two node. Now we have exposed some parameters and these may or may not work. One of them is…
