- [Instructor] Once we've saved out our AOV render passes, we're ready to combine those in a composite application. I'm choosing to use after effects, but this is a very simple compositing job and we could really use any compositing program for this purpose. And because it's a still image, you might think that we could use Photoshop. However, I don't recommend using Photoshop for 32 bit EXR files, because you may experience a color shift when you convert to eight bit for final output. And of course, if we were working with an animated sequence, then Photoshop would not be the right tool for that job. Let's set up the color management and after effects. Go to the File Menu and choose Project Settings. Within here, go to Color Settings. Let's change a couple of these settings, up at the top we see depth or color depth, and the default is eight bits per channel. Of course, we're working with high dynamic range AOVs, so we…
