Ambient sky light with an Arnold quad light

- [Instructor] In the last movie we began to set up an Arnold interior daylight shot and we began by creating a distant light for the sun. We also need a source of light for the sky. And of course, we could use a sky dome for that. However, we don't have a lot of artistic control over the sky dome and it may render a bit more grainy than we like. So we can use an Arnold quad light instead. So that we can see the effects of that quad light isolated from the direct light let's turn off the direct light. Select it, go over to the modify panel and just turn it off. We're going to create our Arnold quad light so that it is aligned orthogonally with the world grid. So I've got 3D snaps turned on and you just want to right-click and make sure in your Grid and Snap Settings that you're snapping to Grid Points and not Pivot. And then to create that light go over to the create panel, to lights, Arnold, Arnold Light, and under Shape we want to make sure that it says Quad. In my case it said…
