Animating camera rotation

- [Instructor] When we animate rotational moves such as pan and tilt, it's always good practice to animate just those curves that you want. Now, this is very similar to how we would animate linear moves, we only want to animate, say, x or y or z because it makes it so much easier to edit that one curve rather than multiple ones in the curve editor. Now, if I have this camera here, so, let's go ahead and select this camera, this is called camera 002, and let's just do a simple animation. So, if I do an auto key and say move my timeline to say, 100, and rotate this, I want to make sure I'm in gimbal mode here and let's go ahead and just, rotate that to do a simple pan. So, now I've got a very simple camera move. Now, when I go into that curve editor, you'll see that we have our rotations here and if we do a view frame, value extents you'll see that this blue curve for z rotation is animated.
