- [Host] Last week we saw how to apply an OSL Wireframe map to render polygon edges. Now we'll go a little bit deeper and see how to art direct the Wireframe map to achieve common effects such as a hidden line or a Wireframe cage. Let's start with a Wireframe on-shaded effect, which is basically what we have here currently, because we plugged the wire map into the base color of a physical material. So let's make this a little bit better. Let's do an active-shade rendering. We can see that we're getting reflections here. We want to disable those reflections in our material, so open up the material editor and select the physical material, set its material mode to advanced, and set the reflections weight to zero. And now in the rendering and in the view port we're getting just a diffuse shading. Let's swap the colors of the Wireframe and the space between the wires.
