- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we created an Arnold spotlight to provide key illumination. I've got ActiveShade running already, displaying the output of the camera view. And we can see that it looks pretty good except that the cyclorama backdrop is actually slightly brighter than the subject, which is the drone model. Now, we could correct for this by adjusting the materials, but I don't want to do that in this case. Instead, we can control the light intensity over distance so that services closer to the light are brighter. Now, Arnold lights obey the laws of physics regarding intensity decay, but sometimes we need to bend or break those rules, and this is one of those times. We can art direct the decay rate using a light filter. Select the spotlight. Go over to the Modify panel. And from the Modifier List, you want to add an Arnold Decay Filter.
