Augmenting terrain

- [Instructor] Creating good terrain is a thorny business between Revit and 3ds Max. Often Revit terrain can be a little blocky, or not come in correctly at all. We need to make sure we have good terrain, and in this particular building, I need some gently sloping areas of terrain that I can plant. I'll take a look at some reference imagery on the original to see what the terrain is around this building. Quite often, I'll have maybe proxy terrain or at least loose guidelines in Revit, and then really for a rendering put it together in 3ds Max. We can see outside of the building that I've got these low retaining walls here, and these go around two sides and sort of end. Maybe there's a driveway or a parking lot going in. And I need some kind of slope from the wall or just below it to under the slab. And back here at some reference on my Santa Fe Savings and Loan, we can see it's essentially on a flat site.
