- Having taken a look at many of the tools and workflow options open to us when using V-Ray Next and 3ds Max inner compositing base pipeline. We are at the point in our course where we would definitely benefit from walking through a mini project in order to see how easily all of these moving parts can be brought together. And so our first task here will be to break down the scene that we are working with and identify the various render elements that we're going to either want or need to use on the project. And hopefully it goes without saying that if we are going to be passing the finished elements to a compositing artist or team at the end of the rendering phase, then it is vital that we consult with those artists and get their input on what exactly they will need from us simply because it may well be that they already have a fixed or even automated pipeline that requires some very specific render elements and or image…
