Building a road with Conform space warp

we will use the Conform Space Warp to project a road onto this procedural terrain. We created the terrain in the previous movie in the series, and we used a Displace Space Warp to deform the terrain. Because of that, we have a special consideration in this particular setup. We've got an extra dimension that we may not have otherwise. Because of the Displace Space Warp, So, we can check on that. Go over to the Move tool and select the terrain object, and indeed, it has a Z-position of zero. Alright, I'll go back to the Select Object tool with the Q keyboard shortcut. The other consideration here is the shape of the conforming object, or the object to be deformed. The Conform Space Warp cannot preserve the deformed object's volume because this is a planar projection. All of the vertices of the deformed object are moved to the surface of the target object.
