Choosing Time Configuration options

- In preparation for animation you want to set your frame rate, and the duration of the active time segment, in your track bar here or time slider. To change those animation options, go into the time configuration dialogue, and it's found in the transport controls at the bottom of the screen. It's a button, looks like a little clock with a gear next to it. Click on time configuration, and the default is 30 frames per second NTSC, and that's the archaic analog television standard in the United States. If you choose PAL, then you'll get 25 frames per second. If you choose Film, you'll get 24 frames per second. I actually recommend choosing custom, so that you'll have a frames per second read out here, that will tell you exactly what your frames per second are, and there's no mistake. So just choose custom, and that way you won't have to guess at what NTSC or PAL or Film means. Below that we have the playback…
