Choosing viewport shading modes
- [Instructor] The Nitrous viewport display technology gives us many controls to determine the look of the rendering in the viewport. The first thing you'll want to look into is the level of anti-aliasing and that primarily deals with the sharpness of wireframes and icons such as these lights. We do want to anti-alias these in order to minimize eye strain. We can do that from the viewport configuration dialogue. And one way to access that is through the viewport menus. On the very far left of the viewport menus is a plus sign. That's the so called general menu. Click that plus sign and then go to configure viewports. In the viewport configuration dialogue, in the display performance tab, we can increase the anti-aliasing quality. You can usually bring that up to its maximum of eight times. And when we click okay here, watch what happens to the wireframes. They all just got a lot softer and easier to look at.…
