Choosing viewport shading modes

- [Instructor] 3ds Max provides many options for shading in the view ports so that we can display our scenes in various ways. The most important distinction is between a shaded mode and a wire frame mode. And you can see in the perspective view, we are viewing the scene as if the objects were solid, and that's a default shading mode. And with our graphic views, by default we see a wire frame, and we can see through the objects. We can change that display mode at any time from the view port label menu here, and on the far right, there'll be a menu that's labeled either default shading or wire frame, and you can click on that and choose a different shading mode, so I can switch over to wire frame override in the perspective view, and I can navigate around, or I can switch back. So I can go back to default shading. You'll see that there are a bunch of other options in here for stylized rendering such as clay. But you probably won't use those very much, you'll just be switching between…
