- [Instructor] The very first time you launch the 3DS Max you'll see the welcome screen. And it just cycles through some images to familiarize you with the application. I'm going to close that welcome screen. If you ever need to get it back you can find that from the help menu. And that will be found in help welcome screen. You can go back in there and once you've gone in there a second time you have the ability to prevent it from showing up when you launch the application. I'm going to disable show this welcome screen at startup so that I won't see that again. And close the window. Let's talk about workspaces in 3DS Max. Right now we're looking at the so called classic workspace or the default workspace. And we can swap that out for a different interfaces. From the workspaces pull-down, up here in the extreme upper right. And it's currently set to default. Let's choose something else. Let's switch this over to alt menu and toolbar.
