- [Instructor] In this week's episode we'll see how to combine fluid data channels in a shading network and we'll also see how to employ velocity data in a shading network, because that's not immediately obvious. I've got a simulation already cached onto disk and if we play that back we'll see that it's a simple animation of some soda pop spilling out of a tumbler. And I'll go down to frame 30 because that's a good representative frame. We're building on previous work that we've done in this series and if you want to follow along with the exercise files, you'll need to cache the simulation onto disk. If you don't remember how to do that, go back and review some of the previous movies starting with the one entitled, Understanding Fluid Data Channels. With my simulation view open, and the carbonated solver selected, I want to enable the velocity channel.
