- [Narrator] Wrapping up our little miniseries on vertex color, I'm going to use the vertex color data I stored in this terrain mesh, in a shading network. And that'll sort of simulate what you might do in a game engine. Using this vertex color to modulate, for example, the diffuse color, with an ambient occlusion, and/or a cavity map. Currently what we're seeing here is the vertex color of the cavity map. And I'm going to disable that, I'll select the object, right-click and go to Object Properties, and turn off Vertex Channel Display. And click OK. And now we're seeing just the material, without any maps applied. We can go into the Material Editor, and we have a standard material applied to the object, and it does have a bitmap attached to it, and that's applied to the diffuse color. We don't see that in the Viewport. We could if we wanted to. We could turn it on using Show Shaded Material in Viewport. However…
