Controlling a MassFX Rigid Body simulation

- [Instructor] In the previous week's movie, we got our Massfx, Rigid Body simulation setup. This week, we will introduce an initial velocity to the cue ball, to get it moving across the pool table. We'll also start to plug in the physical properties of the objects, such as mass and collision threshold. Let's start by assigning an initial velocity to the cue ball. In the top view, select that ball, cue Object and zoom in with a Z hotkey. Let's do the same in the left view port, right click in that view and zoom in with Z. We want to do that so that we'll be close enough to see the manipulator for the initial velocity vector. In the modify panel, scroll down in the Massfx Rigid Body modifier parameters and open up the Advanced Rollout. Within there, you'll see a section labeled, "Initial Motion," "Initial Velocity."
