Creating and setting project folders

- [Narrator] 3ds Max, like most 3D programs relies upon a project folder structure to track the links between different types of files. A 3d project is usually not just a single file, such as a dot Max Scene, it also usually includes things like, bitmap textures, and sounds and so on. To make sure that all of those links are preserved, and you don't have problems with missing assets, you need to use project folders. Projects are managed from the menus under File, Project, but I prefer to use the project's toolbar, because it actually displays the active project, or what your current home base is. If your not seeing the project's tool bar, then you can enable it by accessing the toolbar menu. Right click on any one of the textured bars on a tool bar. Easiest one to get to is at the top of the command panel. Right click on that, and from the popup menu, enable projects if it's not already enabled. And it shows up here on my main toolbar. If I want, I can drag that out and drop it below…
