Curvature
- [Instructor] Whilst it is even by Chaos Group's own admission somewhat limited in terms of its usefulness in the material creation process, the V-Ray curvature map is nevertheless one that users oftentimes ask about. And so we're going to take a quick look at the basics of how it works in this exercise. Let's open up the material editor then and in the mixed tap where we have two V-Ray materials piped into a blend material. Let's go ahead and add a V-Ray curvature map to the working area placing it somewhere towards the bottom of the paint material. And indeed, as we take a look over the curvature map parameters that appear, we can perhaps see why many texture artists feel that its usefulness is somewhat limited given that the control set is very sparse indeed.
