Customizing background and grid colors
- [Instructor] The 3ds Max interface has a dark color scheme to minimize eye strain after many hours in front of the computer, and that's generally quite effective. Unfortunately, however, the default colors for the viewport background and the grid can be somewhat problematic. It can actually make it difficult for you to see what you're working on because they're not quite as legible as they used to be in eons past, but I'm going to take this opportunity to customize those colors and set them back to more of a legacy color scheme in which the grid is actually darker than the background. We can also set the background to be a solid color. In this perspective viewport I'm seeing a gradient. I'll select that viewport so it has a yellow border around it. Go into the Views menu to Viewport Background and just set that to a solid color. Now let's change those colors. That'll be done in the customize menu. Go to Customize…
