Directing floodlighting
- [Instructor] Carrying on from the previous movie, we're developing a flood lighting setup. So far we've got one Arnold quad light in the scene. Let's make a duplicate of that. With the move tool active, select Flood01. Hold down the shift key and drag to create a duplicate. Don't worry if you're getting slow performance. That's just the way it goes sometimes. Once the Clone Options dialog comes up, choose Instance and leave the name at Flood02. Click OK. Because those lights are instances, if we change either one of them, we'll change them both. I just want to move this new light over a little bit and also move its target so it's not exactly on top of the other target. Click on the line that joins the light and its target, and then move them both. All right, now we're ready to do an ActiveShade rendering. Let's select one of the lights instead of its target to expose its parameters in the modify panel. And then…
