- [Instructor] The display panel give us multiple tools for controlling our viewport display. For example, we can hide or freeze objects from the display panel. Today, I want to talk about how the display panel tools can be used to control color, the Object Display Properties, and Link Display Properties. Let's go into the display panel, and right at the top, we see Display Color. This lets us choose whether we want to see the Material color or the Object color for both Wireframe and Shaded modes. Just to refresh your memory, every object in 3dsMax has an Object color, and it may optionally have a Material, also. If we select any object in our scene, it's Object color is displayed at the top of the Command panel.
