Export a scene from 3ds Max
- [Instructor] Let's export this whole scene to Unity 3D now. And previously, what we did for Unreal Engine, where we combined all those small objects and prepared a scene for export, I'm going to use a similar sort of concept here. Everything is being set up. Now, one thing we did different for Unreal was that we exported the whole scene using the Datasmith tool, which actually translated all the materials that were created in V-Ray, pretty easily inside Unreal Engine, to Unreal materials without having to go back and forth and making changes to the materials. And the materials were successfully translated from 3D Studio Max V-Ray into Unreal. However, by the time that I'm recording this course inside Unity 3D, there is no support for V-Ray materials. So what I have done is I have gone ahead and converted all those V-Ray materials into standard materials one by one. So if you plan to work in Unity 3D, you have to keep in mind that all your materials should be standard material, then…
