- [Instructor] Next render element that I want to take a look at here, is the extra texture option that has essentially been designed, to render an entire scene, with just a single texture map applied to all objects. That texture, could be a bitmap, or it could be one of the Rays procedural offerings, such as the dirt, and our curvature maps that are oftentimes used in conjunction with this tool. The brilliant thing in Max of course, if we just open up the render setup dialog, and then access the render elements list, being that we can add as many versions, of the extra texture element as we like. In what ways might this turn out to be useful? Well, let's go ahead and add 3 versions of the extra texture element to our list, and then to each intern, add an edges map, a dirt map and then finally, a curvature map.
