Extruding polygons with the Editable Poly ribbon
- [Instructor] Carrying on from the previous movie, we're going to extrude some polygons using the modeling ribbon, and cause that extrusion to be reflected across the other three quadrants of this toy drone chassis. Once again, it's an editable poly with some symmetry modifiers applied. To get into the correct mode once again, we need to select the object and in the modeling ribbon, activate Modify Mode and click to access the editable poly object by clicking previous modifier a couple of times. And now we're at the correct level of the stack as shown over here. We can then go into polygon sub object mode. And in my case the polygon is already selected because it was selected in the scene previously, and again it is in the positive x and positive y quadrant so that it can be reflected by the symmetry modifiers and I can orbit around with all tend middle mouse button, and then track or pan with the middle mouse button.
