- [Instructor] With our render elements in place, all we need to do now is set up the final render and launch it. So let's go back into Render Setup. So let's go over to the Common tab. We want to render a single image. You can do animation, if you want. We're going to select the view, the area to render is view. Output size, we're going to do 1920 by 1080. And then for file name, we want to make sure we save a file, and I'm going to call this livingroom.tif. Now I want to make sure that I save this as a 16 bit tif file. It'll give me a little bit more control when I go into Photoshop. Now this is saved into the 3dsMax Render Output folder in your Exercise Files. So let's go ahead and hit save, and then for V-Ray settings, I'm just going to go ahead and leave these where they are, at default.
