Focus and depth of field

- [Instructor] Depth of field and focus effects can crate a lot of visual interest in your scene. They blur the image as if part of it is in focus and part is out of focus, and this can also help guide your audience's eye into what's important in the scene. So here I have a basic camera setup, and the front part of this image is kind of a little busy, if we want to focus the eye on this portion, we might want to use a focus effect. So we can do that simply by working with a physical camera. So when you create cameras for focus effects, it's a good idea to create a physical camera. Now this camera here that we already have selected called Cam_interior is a physical camera, so let's just go ahead and select it. Now if we go over to the modify panel, and you'll see we have a lot of our basic and physical camera parameters. Now focus effects are essentially done in the physical camera rollout.
