- [Instructor] Another of the cool features added to the OSL map tool kit are projection nodes. We can now project UV coordinates from objects and cameras within the shading network. Which will reduce our reliance on modifier such as the UVW map modifier or the projection modifier. I've got a test scene here with a teapot and a plane. They're both assigned a material which is a physical material named projection. And its base color is supplied by a test image, which is a UV checker image. And that's an OSL bitmap look up node. Also importantly, the material is in realistic mode. If I select that material node and right click in the middle of that node, we can see that show realistic material in viewport is enabled. Now let's apply a projection map to this UV coordinate input on the OSL bitmap lookup. I'll navigate with the middle mouse button.
