From the course: 3ds Max: Substance to V-Ray

HDRI environments

- [Instructor] In current rendering workflows, the use of high-dynamic-range images for both environment lighting and scene reflections has become pretty much ubiquitous across all areas of the 3D industry. In the scene files for this course then, we have made use of a high-dynamic-range image that was downloaded from the excellent hdri-hub.com website. This site has a number of free samples available that have been released under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 unported license. This allows for both commercial and non-commercial use of provided assets, as well as the ability to re-distribute them; and so we have included the one used here in the exercise files download. I would also encourage you to go and take a look at not only the excellent HDRI collections found on the site, but also with the other asset types that are available for purchase.
