- [Instructor] Now that our SketchUp model is cleaned up, we can bring it over into Max. Now for this file, we may not want to bring over everything at once, so it makes sense to turn off certain parts of the scene, and then that way Max will only import what is visible in the SketchUp file. Now the easiest way to do that is to simply turn on or off layers. So if I go into Layers, you can see we can turn on or off different parts of the structure. Now I don't want to bring over the landscaping because I'm going to create that from scratch in 3ds Max later, so I'm going to go ahead and turn that off. Now we can certainly turn off something like the ground plane. We can turn off all the doors, and so on. And so we could actually save out separate files with different parts of the scene. But I'm actually going to leave this pretty much intact except for the landscaping, and let's go ahead and save this out. Now when we're saving for Max, we should use a lower version of SketchUp.
