- [Instructor] One of the feature sets added to V-Ray 5 that has many users excited would be the Light Mixing tools that are a part of the revamp regarding not only how the V-Ray Frame before window works, but also of how much work can be done in V-Ray and 3ds Max themselves without the need for other software applications to be involved in a project. And of course, whilst a number of compositing artists will certainly want to make use of the Light Mixer tool set, its initial appeal in the production pipeline will most likely be two lighters who all of a sudden have a level of freedom in V-Ray that simply hasn't been there up to this point in time. Yes, Light Mixing could be done in a compositing application using the very powerful V-Ray Light Select Render Element.
