Locking and unlocking container parameters

- [Instructor] Continuing our exploration of containers, now we're ready to talk about locking and unlocking parameters for editing. Last week we learned how Edit In Place mode lets us make destructive changes to source container files from within an inheriting scene, such as a master layout, which I'm calling a destination scene. Now we'll see an alternative workflow that allows collaboration based on changes to specific parameters. Using the Track View features for locking and hiding tracks, we can permit or deny changes to parameters such as transforms, base objects, modifiers and materials. But it's important to know up front that any changes are not going to be stored in the inherited source file as they are with Edit In Place.
