Modeling a background cyclorama
- [Instructor] For an evenly lit background in the standard product shot we can create a cyclorama. Which is a background object in which the floor and the back wall are joined seamlessly by a curve. First I want to improve viewport performance by hiding all these elements inside the drone. Go to the layer explorer, open that up, open up the drone assembly layer and hide the following layers: Arduino, motor controllers one through four, and the wires layer. While we're here, we can freeze the drone assembly layer, so that we can't accidentally select any of the geometry. Close the layer explorer. And for a cyclorama we can start with an arc primitive. Go over to the create panel, and choose shapes, click on the arc button. And create this in the left viewport. Click and hold the mouse button down, you're going to create the first point, and then drag out and release the mouse to create the second point.…
