Modeling the glass
- [Instructor] Now we are going to create the glass. For that, I will go to the Create panel and under the Shapes parameter rollout, I will choose Line. In my front viewport, I will press alt + w to maximize my viewport and start creating the outline for the glass. I'll create a basic glass shape by left-clicking here and then click here and then another click here, and then right-click to end the creation process. I'll go to the Modify panel, apply a lathe modifier and set the alignment to minimum here. So we have this very basic shape of a glass. I can always change that by going to the line and choosing the vertex mode and also clicking on the Show End Result and slightly fixing that by moving around the vertices. So I'll just bring that down and try to give it some shape. Now the glass model may seem easy but there are couple of things that you need to keep in mind in order to get photorealistic results from the glass.
