Moving cameras along paths
- [Instructor] Another way to animate cameras fairly simply is to use motion paths. Now we can do that simply by drawing a spline and attaching the camera to that spline. So let's do a simple path that basically does a half turn around the building to kind of give more of a turntable kind of perspective. So we can do this by simply drawing a curve. So I'm going to go into my Create Menu, Splines, and I'm going to create an arc. And in my top viewport, I'm going to set out, I'm going to left click and drag, set out my baseline of that arc, and then pull that ins outs so that it's pretty much a semicircle. Now if I want to, I can go over to my Modify Panel, change the radius of this as well as the start and stop. So in this case, I'm going to make this very specifically from 180 to 360 to make it exactly a half circle. Now when you draw this, obviously you will draw it at the origin. So I want to go ahead and move this up so…
