Lighting is closely linked to materials, camera, and layout. I invite you to search through the training library for these subjects because we're always adding new courses. At least three courses that I've authored tie in with this one. 3ds Max: Rendering with Arnold is a deeper look at the optimized brute force renderer that's really your best option in the 3ds Max-based package. 3ds Max 2019: Advanced Materials covers the Autodesk physical material which is compatible with all physically-based renderers. And that course also looks at how to build complex shading networks. 3ds Max: Cinematography for Visualization is all about cameras, layout, and composition, as well as camera animation.
